Does the QR code I create expire?
No. Because the code carries its content directly, it is not tied to a server and does not expire. It works for as long as the link inside it stays live.
Can I use the QR code commercially?
Yes. You can use the code you generate on packaging, flyers, menus or ads however you like; the code carries no Reachype mark.
Which format should I choose for print?
SVG is better for print: because it is a vector, it stays sharp at any size. PNG is practical for the web, presentations and social media. For PNG, choose a size of 1024 px or larger.
Can a QR code with a logo still be scanned?
It can, when the logo is kept small enough for error correction to make up for it. This tool limits the logo to at most a fifth of the code and sets error correction to the highest level. Even so, test the code with a few devices before you print it.
